He enjoyed life and lived to LOVE, and he made everyone around him feel the same. He had a mission in life, and knew there were too many people that he had to make an impact on during his short time here. I guess that's why he "never slept"... until now. He always made time for family and friends, even though he probably just worked a 24+ hour shift... no excuses. He carried the ROCH name proud, with deep respect for his blood line, hard work ethics, and love for GOD and all HIS people. One thing I know for sure, GOD is enjoying that BIG hug from Cuz.

My friend Karrie -

My heart is broken for you, I can''t imagine the pain you feel. Please know that you are loved and in my constant thoughts and prayers. Our Lord said he will comfort those that mourn and will never leave us. May he wrap his loving arms around you.

Love - Brenda

I will never forget the big welcoming bear hug I would always get from "cuz." You didnt pick on me and Jennie like my brothers always did. You were different than other brothers I had seen. I always enjoy coming home and seeing what he had been up to on the old George Roch homestead. He was so proud of that house. I am so proud to be a part of the family with strong work ethic and nothing but kindness in everyone's heart. You left us WAY TOO SOON cuz but I know you are in good hands now and I will see you on the other side some day. I love you cuz!

to Pat, Roger,Jennie, Karrie and families.

It without saying, Jake is an outstanding reflection of great parents, Pat and Roger, Grandparents, Helen and George Roch and Great Grandparents John and Rose Roch.
God has his plan and Jake is now with him. Our families have solice in knowing that, grieving and healing in closure.

I don''''t cry often, but I couldn''''t hold back. Roger and Reggie meant so much to my family, building my fireplace and home. Uncle george, mason and carpentry on our parents farm home.

This heritage carried on in Jake as he continued the tridition in construction work with expertise.

To Karrie, our sincere condolences and may you have the strengh and will to carry on as you grieve.

Someone used the words "heavy heart" to describe the feeling of your/our loss. Our community hurts together when we lose an amazing young man as Jason. He truly has touched so many with his kindness. Now he will be an angel to many.
Please accept our heartfelt sympathy & prayer to you his family.

Dear Karrie: You will probably not even remember me or my family, but I could not miss this opportunity to say how VERY SAD we are to hear of your great loss, and at such an early stage in your marriage. We remember YOU from way back when you were the youth pastor at the Newark AOG church just 3 mins. from our home, and what a testimony you were to our entire community! Karrie, dear, we sincerely will be praying strength and healing for a wounded heart for you; and our sincerest condolences to you and your families associated with this tragedy. We MISS you, Pastor Karrie, and only pray that the Lord Himself will touch you in a special way during this difficult time in your life. May God restore your heart and your very wide smile again someday, as you rest in Him..... from: Joyce (Patterson) Stotts originally from Greig, NY with many friends from Lowville, Turin and Beaver Falls growing up, and since 1990 of Newark, NY

I came to know Jason through working at Farney Lumber. He then hauled logs for me on several occasions. I diid not know Jason well, but it was obvious from the big smile that never seemed to leave his face that he loved his work and enjoyed life. Our thoughts, prayers, and heartfelt sympathy go out to all of you at this time of loss.

The Roch''s:
Knowing you family has been a blessing to me throughout the years and I will never forget that phone call from a friend last Thursday about Jason. I immediately wanted to be there for every last one of you all and regret not taking the time to know Jason and you all more. We may not understand why God takes His children home so soon sometimes, but His plans are not ours and He obviously has bigger plans for Jason up with Him. Though Jason''s life was cut way too short, he still lived life to the fullest and impacted so many people. My heart grieves for you all in this time and know that my thoughts and prayers are with you through this tough time. Look to God for peace and comfort in this tragic time as He is carrying you through this. Love you all! You have my deepest sympathies.

Serenity Prayer (in full)
God, grant me the Serenity
To accept the things I cannot change...
Courage to change the things I can,
And Wisdom to know the difference.
Living one day at a time,
Enjoying one moment at a time,
Accepting hardship as the pathway to peace.
Taking, as He did, this sinful world as it is,
Not as I would have it.
Trusting that He will make all things right
if I surrender to His will.
That I may be reasonably happy in this life,
And supremely happy with Him forever in the next.
Amen.

Roger & Family,

Words seem inadequate to express the sadness we feel, hearing of your loss. It took great parents to raise a such a wonderful son to be proud of. I guess it is true as they say, "The apple doesn't fall far from the tree."
Take comfort in knowing that your son was a great man, and will be missed by many.

We were so sorry to hear about Jason's death. We only got to meet him once, when he delivered logs to our cabin. But he made such a huge impression on both of us. We so enjoyed talking and listening to his plans for the future. He was so exuberant about getting married and starting his life with the love of his life. It breaks my heart that he has passed so young. All of his family, especially his wife, have our condolences. I believe with all my heart that he is in heaven watching over all of you. He was kind, gentle and very generous. Although we only met for that day (but had planned on getting together for dinner down the line) he made a huge impression that will stay with both of us for the rest of our lives.
