CROGHAN, NY ~ Tyler Anthony Lyndaker, 23, of 7871 Long Pond Rd., Croghan, died Sunday, April 29, 2012, in the Town of Diana from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident on South Creek Rd., near Harrisville.
Tyler was born on June 1, 1988, in Lowville, NY, a son of Veryle N. and Jane L. Spagnolli Lyndaker, and was a 2007 graduate of Beaver River Central School.
Following high school, he went to work for Rifenburg Construction Company of Troy, NY. Throughout the past 5 years, until the time of his death, he worked as laborer working on various road construction projects in the downstate area of New York including Albany and the New York State Thruway for the company.
Throughout his life, Tyler loved the outdoors, and enjoyed hunting and brook trout fishing at Tide Lake and Big Sand ever since he was a young boy. Additionally, he especially liked seasonal trapping for beaver, muskrat, fisher and otter.
Besides his parents of Croghan, he is survived by his brother, Bryson A. Lyndaker, of Croghan; his paternal grandmother, Velma Lyndaker, of Croghan; his maternal great aunt, Elizabeth Spagnolli, of Beaver Falls; paternal uncles and aunts, Glenn and Nadeen Lyndaker, Rhonda and John Glenn, and Kenton Lyndaker, all of Croghan, and Lorie Glenn, of Lowville; maternal aunts and uncles, Mary Jo and William Burkhard, of Beaver Falls, Lori and Michael Wiley, of Cape Vincent, Tina and William Campeau, of Croghan, and Tonya and Tim Roach, of Round Hill, VA, and numerous cousins.
He was predeceased by his paternal grandfather, Harold Lyndaker, and his maternal grandparents, Ermogine “Beany” and Ann Spagnolli.
A Memorial Service for family and friends will be held on Thursday, at 11:00 a.m., at the Croghan Mennonite Church, Kirschnerville Rd., Croghan, with Bryan D. Catlin, Pastor of the Salem Christian Fellowship Church in Beaver Falls, officiating. Immediately following the service, a funeral luncheon will be held in the church social hall that all in attendance are invited to attend. Interment will be private.
There will be no calling hours.
