CROGHAN, NY ~ Paul Francis Ostrowski, 66, of Chester, VT, formerly of Croghan, passed away on December 28, 2023 at his residence.
Born in Lowville, NY, a son of Francis and Regina (Campany) Ostrowski, he was educated locally.
Paul was a talented autobody technician and masonry expert.
In his free time, he enjoyed spending time playing guitar and singing, and at one time recorded a country album entitled, Easy This Time, under the stage name of Paul Woods.
Surviving are his siblings, Linda (Joe) Davies, Fairview, TX, Judy (John) Munger, Croghan, and Philip (Doris) Ostrowski, Sheridan, WY; three uncles, Harold Campany, of Carthage, NY, Norman Campany, of Monroe, NC, and Joseph Ostrowski, of Syracuse; two aunts, Pauline Murphy, of Croghan, and Sonja Stanbro, of Binghamton, as well as numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
In addition to his family, he will be greatly missed by many friends.
Family and friends are invited to attend his funeral Mass on Thursday, August 24, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. from St. Stephen’s Church, Croghan, with the Rev. Donald J. Manfred, Pastor, officiating. Interment will follow in St. Stephen’s Cemetery, Croghan. After the interment all are invited to a funeral luncheon in St. Stephen’s Social Hall.
