She married Charles R. Ripley on June 20, 1959, in Harrisville.

As a loving mother and homemaker, “Sis” will forever be remembered for her informal and always open “Breakfast Club” in her home where she would make breakfast Monday through Friday for innumerous Harrisville kids before they began their school day.  She also took great pleasure in knitting mittens for children, and more than anything, cherished any time spent with her family.

She was a former member of the Harrisville Volunteer Fire Department’s Ladies Auxiliary, and was of the Methodist faith.
