Jane E. (Wood) Ferencz

Mrs. Jane E. Ferencz, 72, of Harrisville, died peacefully, on Monday, March 2, 2020 at Upstate Medical Center, Syracuse, where she had been a patient for a short time.

Jane was born November 27, 1947 in Carthage, New York; a daughter of the late Alfred and Sarah (Daniels) Wood. She graduated from East Lyme High School, East Lyme, CT. Jane was married to Richard Ferencz, whom predeceased her. Jane drove bus for the East Lyme School District, owned and operated several second-hand boutiques and the Hunters Moon Motel in Harrisville. Jane was artistic and creative, she enjoyed making ceramics, sewing and knitting but most of all she loved spending time with family, especially her grandchildren Ricky Ferencz III and Brennan Ferencz.

Jane is survived by a son, Robert Ferencz of England; grandsons, Ricky and Brennan of Harrisville and Bryce Ferencz of England; a brother, Alfred Wood and by Jacquelyn Smith, whom was like a daughter to Jane.

Besides her husband Richard and parents, Alfred and Sarah; a son, Richard Ferencz II and a sister, Norma Jean predecease her.

In accordance with her wishes, there will be no services.
