HARRISVILLE, NY ~ Geraldine Ethel (Sykes) Jackowski of Talbott, Tennessee passed away Thursday, September 24, 2015, at the age of 96.
Geraldine was born July 23, 1919 in Harrisville, New York, a daughter of the late Harry and Ethel (Hosmer) Graham. She was predeceased by her first husband and father of her children, George Melvin Sykes, of Fine, New York in 1962, and granddaughter, Laura Lee Ingrahm, of Talbott, Tennessee, in 2012; husband, John Lantier, of Adams, New York, in 1970, and husband, Bernard Jackowski, of Orlando, Florida, in 2012.
Geraldine is survived by a sister, Martha Covell, of Largo, Florida, two sons Frederick (Sachiko) Sykes of Lindenhurst, Illinois, and Philip (Betty) Sykes of Palmyra, New York, and a daughter, Rowena Ingrahm, of Talbott, Tennessee, several grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Funeral arrangements are with Scanlon Funeral Home, Harrisville, New York. A graveside service will be held Monday, October 5, 2015, at 1:30 p.m. at the Woodland Rural Cemetery in Fine, NY.
