Darlene Cole Obituary

STAR LAKE, NY ~ Darlene C. Cole, 59, of Lake Rd., Star Lake, died on Friday, September 23, 2022 in Albany Medical Center, Albany, NY, where she had been admitted on September 20th.

Born June 17, 1963 in Star Lake, NY, a daughter of Harold E. and Beverly J. (Stone) Cole, she was educated at Clifton Fine Central School.

Throughout her life, she had worked at various convenience stores in the Clifton Fine and Star Lake area, as well as working as a cook at the Blue Spruce Restaurant in Star Lake.

One of her favorite pastimes was fishing.

Surviving are her domestic partner, Louis John MacCue, of Star Lake; her son, Stanley Stewart, of Fine; two sisters, Darcy Cole, of Oswegatchie, and Rita Cole, of Benson Mines, and aunts, uncles and cousins.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her daughter Erica, who died in 2014, and two brothers, Larry Cole and Ricky Cole.
