Ada and family: Condolences on Harold's passing, and I will remember him as a kind and helpful neighbor whose clam chowder was always my first stop at our neighborhood parties. My parents also asked me to add their condolences to this message, as they both have many fond memories of Harold as well.

We are so sorry we can’t be there with our family. David and I have been talking about our memories of Harold including David’s one and only double date with Harold and Ada and how Harold teased me about David changing his mind about getting married on the way home from the airport when he never arrived. He did like to tease. We are thinking of all of you and love you all.

Ada & Family, we were all so saddened to hear of Harold's passing, but wish to let you know we are praying for your comfort during these difficult times. It wasn't until I saw the obituary today, that I realized Harold served in the Navy - as did I. Even more interesting than that was that we were both 2nd class Machinists' Mate Petty Officers. Pretty cool - I salute you, Harold and pass on our love and sympathy to your family!
