HARRISVILLE, NY ~ Barbara A. Arnold, 81, of 14408 Maple St., passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 19, 2011, at her home surrounded by loved ones.
Born in Harrisville on March 22, 1930, a daughter of Hubert and Dorothy (Dobson) McMahon, she was educated in Harrisville schools.
She is survived by her five children, Judy (Bruce) St. Lawrence, Rochester, Michael (Tammy) Arnold, Harrisville, Patrick (Patricia) Arnold, Syracuse, Paul Arnold, Maryland, and Thomas (Juli) Arnold, Atlanta; eleven grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren.
Barbara spent most of her time as a homemaker. She was a devoted mother and grandmother, with family being the focus of her life.
Barbara’s favorite pastimes including doing word puzzles and especially spending time with her family.
She was a member of St. Francis Solanus Church in Harrisville.
A memorial service with funeral Mass will be held for family and friends on Friday, November 25, 2011, at 12 Noon at St. Francis Solanus Catholic Church in Harrisville. Interment will be in St. Francis Solanus Cemetery, Harrisville.
There will be no calling hours.
